The short answers on money.
- Do my athletes pay anything?
- No. Athletes are free on every plan, forever. They pay YOU for coaching, through the app, and only coaches and programs ever pay MarkIT.
- What is the percentage for?
- Payment processing and protection. MarkIT is the merchant of record on money your athletes pay you, which means it carries the card processing, the chargebacks, the tax handling and the payout to your bank. It is 20% on Free, 5% on Growth and 0% on Pro. MarkIT makes its money on the subscription, not on your coaching. See exactly what you'd take home.
- What happens to my film?
- It is kept, forever, on every plan. MarkIT does not delete video. Recent clips open the instant you tap them; older ones move to deep storage and take a moment to wake up. What a plan buys is how long a clip stays instant, never whether it survives.
- Is Free a trial?
- It is a plan. There is no clock on it and no card at signup. It stops at 3 athletes, and if you pass that you upgrade.
